A World of Misfit's. . .

Dawn didn't understand it, Alex he..just made her heart race by existing..it was a knew and scary feeling for her.

She looked Shadow, "Do you think we could get them out sooner? It's chilly down here."

Ice leaned her head, "Shadow. . .if you wouldn't mind. . ."

Shadow sighed, "Okie~!" She used the shadow's around Joss to make a make-shift bandana and tied it around his mouth. Keeping him quite he glared at Ice.

Shadow leaned against the cell bars. Holding a paperclip board she wrote things down. As did Dawn. They pretended they were 'filling out paperwork'. Ice rolled her eyes the entire time.

Soon, they had it all filled out. "We will be back in a second to let you two out~!" Shadow chirped happly.

Dawn, Ice, and Shadow went up stairs to hunt down the Circus Master.

Shadow and Dawn had talked the entire way, Ice sighed and rolled her eyes about every two minutes. They found her in a few minutes.

"Circus Master! We have the papers on the attackers, we had them eat an herb so they are fine now." Shadow chirped.

"They are both misfit's also. . ." Dawn said, trying to hide her smile.

The Circus Master looked at the two girls, "Attackers? Herb?" She didn't say much but it was enough to tell them no one had informed her of what was going on.


Someone was in deep trouble, she just hoped it wasn't her.

"I thought someone had told you. . .the guards saw us brings them in. . .we had went hunting and herb collecting, Ice had to do a cleansing ceremony for her wings. So we went herb gathering for Vate. Once that was done we went hunting. We had to stop because to men were looking for me." Shadow had told her.

"They were hired by Shadow's father to kill her, we gave them an herb that wiped their memory of the past month. All they know is that they were supposed to find the Shadow-Kingdom and speak to a high-archy. So we told them that Shadow was in charge and that Someone else had to clear them. . ." Dawn had added.

"Who gave you girls permission to leave?" Milady Master asked looking at each of them.

Dawn took a deep breath, "No one did, but I had to get out. I can't stay away for as long as I have been. I'm conect to the wild, the untouched nature. Without it I will die, my life will slowly drain away until I'm too weak to even move, and then too weak to breath or for my heart to beat."

She looked at Dawn, "We'll talk later, but that doesn't excuse these two."

Dawn thought a moment and an idea came to her, "Ice was talking about how bad her wings needed cleaning and I didn't want to leave the camp alone because groups are safer. So, we grabbed Shadow to give us an extra pair of eyes and help fighting if we ran into trouble. Stopped at Vate's to get his herb list because we knew he was low."

The Circus Master nodded, "We will all talk later. For now I want to see these men. . ."

Shadow nodded, she led The Circus Master to the jail cell were Leo and Alex were.

Leo looked up, "So, is she the queen of the Shadow-Kingdom?"

The Circus Master laughed in delight, "No, dear boy. I am The Circus Master. . ."

Alex was seated the furthest corner of the cell, "So, I'm guessing, his isn't the Shadow-kingdom."

"No this is the Underground Circus." The Master said simply.

Leo looked up at her, "Wait. . .so she isn't the Shadow Princess?"

Shadow sighed and looked away, "Yes. I am, I am supposed to be in the Shadow-Kingdom taking heir to the throne. . .my father wants me dead just because he believes women are unfit to rule. . ."

"You are the eldest right?" Alex looked up at her.

"Yes, by a year."

"Then, it's only right that you take the throne." Leo said.

"According to my father it's not, he has tried to murder me. He wants one of my brother to take throne. . .even if I am more capable then them. . ." Shadow said, turning away from the cell.

Leo cocked his head, "That doesn't seem right.."

Dawn stepped over and put her arm around Shadow.

Dawn looked at the Circus master, "Can we get them out of their now? I think our conversations are better suited over a hot meal."

Alex and Leo looked up and said, " Food? Yes please."

The Circus Master looked at Shadow and Dawn, quitely asked them about the herb and what they remembered. She was shown the papers and let them leave, after she read through all the papers. Shadow and Dawn lead Leo and Alex to the Food Tent. Leo was wondering why the Shadow King's train of thought ment killing his only daughter. He shook it off once he saw all the food.

"Is that all. . ." Alex said.

"Yea, we make it and place it." Shadow said, motioning for them to follow her to the food buffet.

Dawn sat next to Alex munching on some of the more bland foods.

Shadow sat across from her, next to Leo.

The to boys ate like they'd never been fed.

"Whoa! Guys slow down a bit your going to make yourself sick!" Shadow said bursting with laughter. Dawn smiled.

Leo smiled, "Sorry, It feels like we haven't eaten in a few days. . ."

Dawn shrugged, "Probably haven't we are in Russia."

Shadow grabbed her sandwich, "Well, lunch is for another 30 minutes so you should be fine." She smiled and eat her sandwich.

They both slowed down to a more reasonable pace.

"How old are you guys?" Dawn asked them.

Alex swallowed his bite and looked at her, "Why does it matter?"

"Whoa there, Angle Boy, what's up with the attitude? These girls have been nothing but nice to us," Leo said taking a quick glance at Shadow.

Alex shook his head, "..Yeah, sorry."

"I needed to know your ages so we could get you placed in the right tents. We're placed by age and gender into group tents." Dawn said a little angry that he was being so rude.

Alex ate a couple more bites, "I'm 17, and male if you couldn't tell."

Leo shrugged, "I'm 18. and Alex, I'm pretty sure they know we are male."

Shadow leaned onto the table, "Ok, so Alex will be in the tent across from us, and Leo will be one tent down."

"Neat, I don't have to live with Alex anymore." Leo smirked and looked at Alex.

"Hey, you mean I don;t have to live with you."

"Hey, You know what? Shadow-Walker!" Shadow stood up and alked off into a random, dark corner and came up dangleing from the ceiling.

Leo looked up, "How did you?"

Shadow pulled herself up and lifted Dawn up into the railings also. "Shadows, Duh."

Dawn smiled an leaned in to Shadow, "Your so showing off for Leo!" Dawn gave a light giggle.

"Why are you so grumpy Alex?" Dawn asked form her high spot.

"Because, your hiding something.."

Dawn just about lost her balance, "Waah? Hiding what?

"Something. . ." Alex said looking at Dawn.

"Your, Right. She is!" Shadow said. Dawn shot her a look.

"What is it then?" Leo said, still watcing Shadow.

"She is my bestest friend!" Shadow said, giving Dawn a hug. Alex rolled his eyes.

Dawn smiled at her, "Let's join our friends...on the ground.."

"Aww. . .you can i want to stay up here." Shadow said lowering Dawn down onto the ground, hanging upside down. Her pony tail, fell out.

"Darn it!" She tried to grab it as it fell out of her reach and her hair fell in her face. She flipped back up into the railings and walked out of a shadow picking up her pony tail.

Dawn coughed lightly, Shaow stuck her tongue out. She started eating her backlava that she had gotten.

Dawn stared at Shadows desert.

"So yummy," she thought before returning to her bland meal of smoked jerky and bread.

Dawn pulled her hood down, "It's hot today." She told Shadow fanning herself with her hand.

" I know, Hotter then usaul actully. . ." Shadow said, sitting back in her spot with the other.

Leo looked at Shadow, "Hotter then usual?"

"We are in Russia, so it's usually pretty cold in the compound. . ."

Dawn nodded.

"I'm ready to go to my room when Leo is." Alex said a little moody sounding.

Leo nodded,"I'd like to see my room but I think I'd like to have these girl show me around," he said winking a Shadow.

If you could see a Shadow-Walker blush, Shadow probably would have been bright red. She started giggling uncontrollably. Leo smiled. Dawn bit her bottom lip.

Alex placed an arm on Dawn, "So, Show me and my buddy here around?"

Dawn used all her control to stop her blush, "Okay."

She stood up doing a slight hand motion to make a slight breeze blow through the Circus to help cool things down, "Common lets get started." She offered her hand to help Alex up. He took it feeling less moody now that it was cooler and he was full.


Leo Jumped up so he could offer Shadow his hand. Dawn smiled at Shadow who took it.
