A Day in The Life of Misfits

"Wouldn't that be hard? I mean think of all the details. . .I can do it with metal. . .but with wood? Try again later." Shadow grinned.

"It's not that hard to me. I have done it for a while." Dawn said, continueing her work.

"Right. . ." Shadow said, sitting down fiddling with Dawn's bed.

Dawn reached under her bed and pulled out a wooden box with detail carvings of flowers and vines. She opened it up and there were wooden carvings of many things. One looked like a tree in the dead of winter next to it one in the spring full of flowers buds then in the summer full of fruit and then the fall with openly a few leaves. There were ears and caterpillars in all stages of life foxes and bunnies.

" these were a few of my favorite so I kept them. The others I left in places were the animal is found. "

Shadow lightly picked one up, "It's so. . ."

"Detailed?" Dawn smiled finishing her sentence.

She nodded, "It would take like. . .ten different knives to do this. . ."

Shadow went under her bed and pulled out a different box, she walked back over and opened it. "This one is my favorite." She pulled out a Praying Mantis completely made of Metal. Threads, springs and a few nuts and bolts.

Dawn smiled, "That's quite a talent you have there."

Shadow grinned.

"It's one of my two favortive things. Alchemy, and Mechanics." She said.

"Mechanics?" Dawn looke dat her strangely.

"Yes." Shadow placed it on the bed and press a button on the back of it's head. IT then started to move.

Dawn smiled clapping her hands, "That's amazing!"

Just as sh said this it stopped and tuned it's head 180 around. Dawn smiled, "That has always amazed me!" Dawn smiled with excitement.

"This one is my personal favortie." Shadow smiled as she pulled out a roly-poly.

It rolled around on the floor, it was 4 times larger then a normal one.

Dawn stared in a amazement, "That is..." She was lost for words.

"How old were you when you made it?"

"I think 8." Shadow said, playing with it lightly.

"Wow!" Dawn said amazed.

Shadow smiled, "It isn't that hard, I could maybe show you sometime,"

Dawn nodded.

"Hey, I'm going to go out for a bit, I need a bit of alone time," Dawn said smiling, "I'll be back later."

Shadow smiled, "Okay! I'll see later,"

As Dawn was leaving Ice came into the tent.
