((We Need A Twist In The Plot. IDEAS??))

Dawn smiled, she loved being out in the forest with Shadow.

((Umm. . . .A bear?))

Shadow and Dawn heard a limb snap, they climbed a tree to have a higher vantage point just in case someone was after them.

Just as the got to the top they saw it, I huge brown bear.

"Uhhh, Shadow, what do we do?"

Shadow shrugged, distractly looking around in the trees.

"I am hoping to find a Honey-Bee Hive. . .but I don't see any and thi is the middle of Russia for pete's sake!" Shadow said in a low tone so she didn't attract any unwanted attention.

Dawn chuckled low shaking her head, "Wow, what a mess this could be."

Shadow laughed, "This is how is was untill started coming with me." She smiled, even if it wasn't normal. She liked having Dawn with her.

Dawn stuck her tong out at Shadow, "How boring that must of been!"

The bear caught sent of them and started trying to find it's way up the tree.

Shadow grimaced as the bear had turned to her tree and tried to climb it.

"Ok. . .I am going to try something untterly stupid.. . . ."

"What?" Dawn said.

"You'll . . see. . . " Shadow jumped out of the tree and had the bear chase her, she ran into a tree's shadow dissapearing, confuseing the bear.

She then poked it's rump. Causeing it to turn, then she dissapeared again. After a few minutes the bear got aggervated.

"Shadow!" Dawn called, "Stop that! your going to gt hurt!"

Shadow didn't pay much attention, she knew if even for a second she could be distracted was another that she could be hurt. She appeared in front of the bear which gave chase to her, thankfully she dissapeared into another Shadow just before the bear got there and appeared by Dawn. The Bear, however, thought she had ran on farther and ran farther into the woods away from the girls.

Shadow was panting hard, "I've done this before. . ."

"I could have just used some wind to draw it away, or try and coax it with the slight animal contact I have!" Dawn said hugging Shadow.

Shadow tensed slightly, then relaxed.

These people won't hurt you Shadow. . .They care. . .about you. . . She had thought, thinking that the sentence sounded. . .different. . .in a good Way.

"Oh. . .it's just. . .it felt normal. . .you know. . .normally I don't have people here with me. . ." She said, hugging Dawn back.

Dawn pulled away, "hey are you okay?"

Shadow nodded, smiling. "Yea. . .just a memory. . ." she looked at Dawn.

Dawn shook her head, " It just scares me that you might get hurt."

Shadow's face went from smiling to emotionless. "Really?"

Dawn nodded, "Yes, and that could have gotten you hurt. . .or killed!"

Shadow smiled, her eyes tearing up. "You. . .really caare if i get hurt. . ."

"Are you okay?" Dawn looked at her worried.

"My father. . .he always wanted me to get hurt. . .The hug. . it wasn't ment to insult you. . .just. . .the last time I was embraced like that. . .was when ,my father gave me the wound on my shoulder. . ." she trailed off, smiling, looking at Dawn.

Dawn shook her head, "I'm sorry to hear that..it's terrible to have such connection problems."

Dawn sighed, "I wish I'd told you sooner that I cared so much for you."

Shadow leaned back, "Personally, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It just. . .feels so different to know. . .not just wonder. . .to actually know that someone cares. . ." she said smiling, looking at the sky.

Dawn nodded, "Yeah. It would feel different."


The two sat in silence for a bit before Dawn said, "We should go before the bear comes back. We can go back to cap if your tired after all the shadow travel."

"You think that was alot?" She laughed. "That wasn't anything!"

"It. ..wasn't?"

"Nope! Oh hey. . .wanna see something?" She leaned up, perched on her toes.

"I guess. . .what is it?"

"Well, you only see that we go in and leave a shadow, but you don't know what it looks like to shadow travel. . .So. . .do ya wanna see?"

Dawn looked at her, "Sure!"

Her first thought was whether it was dangerous or not, but she pushed it aside.

She took Dawn's hand, "I promise, I won't let anything happen to you. Just keep your grip on my hand and We should be fine!"

Shadow carefully walked into one of the shadow's. To Dawn eveything went black, an extremely cold feeling came over her, she paniced, her grip on Shadow's hand was loosening.

"I got you. . ." A Shakey voice said. A Tightened grip on Dawn's hand lead her to believe the voice was Shadow's. Once Dawn's eyes had adjusted to the Black, she saw Shadow. There was a faint grey walk-way with different points shown on the wall. Shadow indicated them with her hand. "Those tell us different points we can land at, these indicate which are safe or not." She motioned to white ones.
The Walls arched over head, forming a tunnel. Shadow reached out and touched one of the White dots. A Door-way then came into view. Shadow Carefully walked through it making sure Dawn had gone first.

"Oh, My, Gosh. . ." Dawn had said.

"It's pretty cool, it makes my voice weird though. . ." Shadow said, her voice back to it's usual soft tone.

"Why does it do that? Like. . .make your voice all shaky and low?"

"Shadows are unstable for example when you are walking, your shadow moves. Every Shadow moves."

"But you looked. . ." Dawn said looking at how she had changed back into her normal featureless skin.

"Like this?" Shadow had change her form, her skin turned a peach color, while her eyes grew dark purple, her hair changed to a long, flowing brown.

"Yea. . ." she said, touching Shadow as if she hadn't seen her before.

She changed back to normal. "I know, That's what we look like in the Shadow-Realm. Otherwise It takes energy and concentration to up-hold it."

"Wow," Dawn said dumbfounded.

"That's so..amazing!" Dawn's face brightened.

"Was it hard for you to take me with you?"

Shadow leaned her head sideways, "Now that you metion it. . .it wasn't!"

"What do you mean?"

Shadow sighed, "I am a rare Shadow-Walker, I can let non-shadow beings Transport. Last time i did it it was with Cresent, this time I did it with you and it wasn't hard at all!!!" She jumped up and down.

"What do you mean by Rare-Shadow-Walker?"

"Normal Shadow-Walker's can't show others what you just saw. I can." Shadow said.
