A Day in The Life of Misfits

Blake looked at Shadow then back at Ice, "I did just get here you know. . . so Shadow hasn't really has the time to tell me anything much!"

"To bad your 'sedution powers' won't work on me huh?"

"Only cause you have lived with them forever!"

"Well, really no? I thought i just had started two minutes ago~!"

"Ahh, your just jealous that you don;t have them!"

"Oh.. .Yea. . .Cause I so want all the guys here Fawning over me~!" She rolled her eyes, sarcasm present in the words.

"Aww, look at the little shadow~!" Blake pinched her cheeks, she tried to bite him.

"Yea. . . Love my brother~!"

Dawn giggled a little at the two siblings, "It's hard to be in a sour mood with you two around."

Blake picked up Shadow and hugged her, "It's only because Shadow here is an cute little thing~! I mean just look at her~!"

"Blake. . .I swear. . .one day. . .ONE DAY!!!. . . " Shadow endured the length of the hug.

"You know I think I'm starting to see it Shadow..You aren't near as fierce as I thought, " Dawn smiled at Shadow teasing her.

Shadow glared at Dawn but quickly stopped, "Well. . .he is my brother. . .I can't just kill him. . .even if it looks like it. . .I couldn't stand it if he died. . ."

Blake smiled, "Aww. . .Do you really mean the Shad? Come on? Do ya?"

Shadow grunted as he hugged her tighter, "If you let me breath, maybe!!"

Blake set her down, "Sorry, hadn't had human interaction in awhile. . .Don't know my own strength."

Dawn smiled at them shaking her head. It was wonderful to watch Shadow be so happy. Even if she's being grumpy about it.

Shadow eventully decided to show Blake around, offering Dawn to come along, Ice also had an invatation to come, and did. As they walked around Blake would make a comment about something and Shadow would hit him or he would stop and flirt with somebody then Shadow would have to come back and drag him away.

Dawn walked with the group but got caught up in thought. What would her family been like if she'd stayed? Her sister that was a couple months younger but was treated like perfection while she couldn't even sleep in the kingdom. If Dawn hadn't been so..wrong in existence would she have been like this. Happy? No she was happy now. She said t oher self unconvinced.

Dawn sudden;y ran into Blake, "Something wrong?" He looked at her.

"No. . . just thinking. . ."

Blake shrugged and turned back around to Shadow, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "So sis. When are we going to meet this 'Circus Master'?"

"Soon. . .Trust me. . .soon. . ." Shadow led Blake to the infirmary.

"Vate~!!! I have someone I want you to meet~!" Shadow called into the room.

"Really?! Cool! Be there in a second!" Crashing was heard from the back room, later the Blue-haired Neko-boy walked in.

"He. . .has cat ears. . ." Blake noticed.

"Yea! Vate this is Blake. Blake, this is Vate." Shadow introduced them.

"SO what is it you needed Shadow?"

"Can you examine him? He says his wings got cut off and he hasn't been around anything human in awhile."

"Sure!" Vate said, ears perked up.

Dawn watched Vate's check up curiously.

What was there to look for in Vampire/fae/shadow people?

"Growing those wings back is going to be a pain," Vate said, looking over at Ice.

Ice nodded, "Agreed." She turned to Blake. "Just make sure you run somewhere that no one can find you. Otherwise they make sure that you aren't able to do anything 'dangerous' the day after they come in."

Three pairs of eyes turned on her. "What?" she asked.

"You aren't going to let that go, are you?" Vate questioned.

"Maybe... someday... when I decide to remember my past," Ice giggled.

Dawn smiled watching them both.

"Your wings are beautiful Ice. It seems it would be worth the pain to grow them..but maybe I'm wrong."

"Thank you," Ice replied, "but, if you think of all the blood and the skin ripping and tearing as the wings try to break themselves from their chrysalis... it wasn't very pretty. And I apparently lost a lot of blood."

"Ice, you did," Vate said.

"Well, you are the doctor, so I suppose you would know," Ice replied.

Vate finished looking over him in a few minutes, "Well, his wings are growing back, it seems like he is getting a fever, and he will need blood soon, since he is a vampire."

Blake nodded, "It's fine, I have this blood bank. . ." he paused once he noticed all the weird looks he got.

Shadow looked at them, "Yes, It is cliche, but it feeds him and saves lives!"

Blake shrugged, "If you guys need some I can send you some blood for patients. . ."

"I remember," Dawn said, "It was a lot, but i don't know, they're just so...stunning."

Blake leaned back, watching as Vate scrambled off to get the soothing cream.

"So, Do i get to see the Circus Master next?"

"Sure, Why not. I would need to find her first though. . ." Shadow said.

"Sounds lovely~!"

The group said their goodbyes and went off to find the circus master.

"Does the sun bother you?" Dawn asked Blake curiously.

(( Tis' fine, I just took it as a separte conversation.))

Blake leaned his head side-ways, "Not really, you see the fae in me likes the sun and even though i am more vampire then fae, it basically cancels each other out. Unless I haven't had blood, then yes the sun would bother me."

"How does it bother you?"

"It stings. . .alot. . .oh and I have this tendency that I smoke if to much of my skin is exposed." Blake said, laughing lightly.

Dawn's eyebrows shot up, "Your kidding right?"

Blake chuckled, "No, No i am not. If I haven't had blood in about a month and i decide to go outside, in say shorts, I will literally start smoking."

"Yea, Shorts and a t-shirt. . ." Shadow said, rubbing her head lightly.

"Why can't I go out in just shorts?" Blake said cocking his head at Shadow.

"Because your the palest thing on Earth!"

"Actully, The other day. I got tanned."

Dawn looked dumbfounded, "You can tan?"

Blake chuckled again, "Yes, with te proper amouth of blood handy." He lifted his shirt slightly, showing his tanned stomach.

"Blake! Put your shirt down!" Shadow yelped at him.

Dawn laughed surprising herself. She quickly stopped herself.

"Wow you two.."

Shadow was leaning over Blake's shoulder, "Put your shirt down Nobody here cares if you have a Six-Pack!"

"Are you sure? She thinks it's pretty funny." Blake said pointing to Dawn.

"Blake!!" Shadow said as her brother pulled his shirt down and flung his arm over her.

Dawn ducked under his arm, "Nice try. I'm not quite that easy."

Shadow stuck her tong out at him, "Ha!"

Shadow sighed as she was once more over her brother's shoulder.

"Blake. . .you know i love you. . ." Shadow said, giving up.

"Yes, I know you love me lots~!" He began to pat her head.

She lifted her head and licked his hand.

Dawn smiled as they wondered around looking for Milady Master.

Shadow and Blake continued to pester each other endlessly.
