A Day in The Life of Misfits

"I would say let's eat it, but it looks to be poisonous," Ice commented. She looked at her coffee, "Oi... I don't know if I should have caffeine anymore. I getting quite hyper." She looked up at the bug, then looked back down. There, on the floor was another one.

Shadow closed her eyes and sighed. "Is there one on my head?"

Dawn looked over, sure enough there was one sitting in her hair.

"Is there?"

"Yes. . ."

Ice looked closer at the bug.
It looked very poisonous and she wondered if it poisoned on contact like a blister beetle did.
"Do you know what they are?" she asked Shadow.

Dawn remembered something, she'd run into it before,"They.."

Ice looked at her,"They what?"

Dawn bit her lip, "They are poisonous but..only..to certain creature/animals, but..I can't quite remember much more than that."

"I. . .uhh. . .," her gaze was caught by a man entering the tent, she then threw a spoon at him. "Get your pet's off of my head!!!" By now three or four of them had gathered on her head.

"Aww, Come on Shadow. It's just a little game~!" A man in a cloak walked up and sat beside Shadow.

"Just a little game?", Now about 6 were on her head. "Get. Them. Off."

"Oh, you are a kill-joy Shadow!" He placed his hand next to her head, the spider's immedidately crawled into his hand.

"Oh, yea? I Don't really like Vampire Spiders On My Head!" Shadow had hit him in the arm.

"And who is this?" Ice asked, looking at the man.
"And you keep these creatures as... pets?"

Dawn pulled her hood farther over her face to shadow her smile. She found this all quite..funny but she didn't really think anyone else did

"Sorry Miss! I'm Blake, Vampire, these are my pets. Yes, Vampire spiders. Found their mother when she was small."
He pulled off the hood to his coat, Deep blue hair, slightly messy, Silver eyes, and scars on his cheeks. Straight lines leading from his cheek bones to his jaw. A pair of head-phones lay arpund his neck.

"Oh, Shut it Blake. She couldn't possibly like you after scaring us!"

He smirked, "Oh, Come on. Can't I flirt?"

Ice giggled, "You may flirt, but I doubt it will go anywhere other than friendship."

"Ah, but it may," Blake replied.

"I very highly doubt it," Ice continued. "But you can always try. I'm Alice, but everyone calls me Ice."

"I'm Katana but I go bye Dawn," Dawn pushed her hood out of her eyes but kept it over her hair.

"Well, hello Dawn." Blake said turning to her.

Shadow sighed and put her head in her hand, "Everybody, This is my other Half-brother Blake. . ."

"I thought that Cresent was the only one." Ice added in.

Blake looked at Shadow hurt. "You told about Cresent, but not me?"

"I didn't have a choice! Father was abuseing him! I had to bring him here!" Shadow said looking him in the eye.

"He went that far. . .I can't believe him. . ." Blake said.

"It's fine. . .just. . .," Shadow felt on her head where 6 more Vampire spiders were. "GET THEM OFF MY HEAD!"

Dawn giggled not being able to control it anymore, "It runs in the family." Dawn said smiling.

Ice laughed as well. "I think there is a family reunion going on on the top of your head Shadow."
She turned to Blake. "So you're half shadow-walker, half vampire?" Ice asked, confused.

"Not exactly Ice, but pretty close." Blake said gathering the final Cluster of Vampire Spider off of Shadow's head.

"Well. . . then what are you?" Dawn tilted her head sideways.

"I'm a fourth Shadow-Walker, A fourth Faerie, and Half Vampire."

Ice noticed now that his eye-shape was Almond. "Wait, so weres your wings? Your are a faerie after all."

"They uhhh. . .", he paused in the middle of his sentence.

"They what?"

"They had gotten cut off just last week. . .so I had some difficulty getting were i wanted. . .It's going to be a bugger when they start to grow back."

"Oh, I know. . .same thing happened to me. Talk to Vate he should be able to give you something to help." Ice said.

"They are going to be so much more than a bugger," Ice added. She straightened hers for effect.
"Interesting combination of species. What type of fae?"

Blake smiled, "You know, I don't know! I was never told, and I never had any acess to any books that would tell me. All I know is that My wings are the same color as my hair."

"Ice or water then," Ice said. "Or possibly dark or Earth. Sadly, I'm a fourth dark fae."
She looked at the table, still very uncomfortable with her heritage.
And the evil she was supposed to represent.

Blake nodded, "Ice huh? Isn't that your name?"

Ice nodded. "But it is also an element you may control."

Blake leaned against Shadow, "Well, i have always had a Love of Russia and its tempertures."

Shadow began hitting his arm, "Get off of me you big loaf!"

"I am only a few inches taller!"

"You have more muscle mass then I do! I don't care if your a year younger!"

"More Muscles huh?" Blake said, still leaning on Shadow.

"Why. . .did. . .I. . .say that!?!?" Blake turned around and picked Shadow up and threw her over his shoulder.

"Hmm. . .You know. . .I think your right. . .you are quite light now that i think about it!"

"Blake!! Put me down!!" She thumped on his back.

"Aww. . .are you sure?"

"Yes!!" Shadow said, sighing Blake put her down.

"Ummm. . .Shadow?" Ice giggled.

"What?" She replied.

Ice started laughing and she pointed to Shadow's head, were all 20 of the vampire spiders had gathered.

"BLAKE!!!"

"Yes, sister?"

"I swear. If you do not get them off of my head. I will squish them." Shadow said, her face dead serious.

Blake lt out a little squeak and collect his pets.

Dawn smiled at them, "What's it like to have a family..?"

"Normally it's fine if you have Cresent for a brother, but Blake. . .he is a handful. . ." Shadow said, strokeing her hair to make sure no spiders remained.

"Hey! You are to sis!" Blake said whacking her arm.

Dawn bit her bottom lip, "You two are funny."

Blake looked at Shadow and had big eyes, "See~? Other people think we are funny~!"

Shadow rolled her eyes, "Oh Blake, always manageing to flirt with anybody. . ."

Dawn shook her head, "You two..Do you always tease each other so much? It's confusing you obviously care about each other but you act like you can't stand each other..I just don't understand it at all..."

Ice started to laugh again.
"Well, he is part vampire," she said, "and you know what they say about vampires."

"What?" asked Dawn.

"That they have power of seduction," Ice replied to her.

Blake looked at Ice, smileing showing his fangs, "May I ask, Miss Ice, Where you learned that?"

Shadow hit his arm, "Blake!"

"What I just wanted to know, I mean you knew. Your my sister! But how did miss Ice know?"

"..Nymphs have seductive powers...When they talk it's very luring but when they sing it's almost irresistible." Dawn looked at Ice, "Is it a bad thing?"

"Depends what you're using it for," Ice replied. "But, since fae and nymphs are somewhat related, it's very hard to seduce fae. But I'll save the genealogy lesson for another time."
She paused and looked at Blake.
"As for your question, I really don't know how I knew. I don't know if Shadow told you or not, but when I came here, I had amnesia."
